Technical assistance to ensure States can effectively analyze data, identify critical issues, and identify priorities for focus of improvement efforts.

Red

Fiscal Improvement Team (FIT)

Dedicated to providing enhanced support to states and the TA&D Network around IDEA fiscal issues. The FIT has members from each of the centers in the Regional Resource Center Program as well as representation from the National Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center. The primary function of the Fiscal Improvement Team is to provide direct TA to states, in coordination with the RRCP, regarding IDEA fiscal issues.  To find out more, contact your RRCP state liaison or FIT member in your region:

BlueState Accountability Systems – Part C and 619 

Focus is on aligning early intervention results accountability with other Federal efforts and initiatives, supporting state systems, sharing data across systems, and locating resources and tools that promote effective professionals and quality services.

Orange Disproportionality

Addresses issues of equity, assessment, and intervention strategies states can use with LEAs to address root causes of disproportionality. This includes making connections to performance on graduation and behavior, child find/evaluation for Part B, and reaching underserved populations.
 
This resource page provides links to federal centers that conduct work to address disproportionality, as well as training modules, resources, tools, and templates. A short list of state disproportionality web pages and research or practitioner articles of interest can also be found here.

BlueStudent Performance and Achievement (SPA)

Works collaboratively with other technical assistance providers to build states' capacity to improve outcomes for students with disabilities with a specific focus on Part B results indicators including graduation rate, dropout rate, performance on state assessments, and post-school outcomes.
