Participants in the Transition Outcomes Project Currently, the Transition Outcomes Project has active participants in 23 States and over 1,000 local districts. Several more States and regions have expressed an interest and are slated to join in 2006. The project is not exclusive to working with the State Department of Education. For instance, in Michigan, the Transition Outcomes Project started with the Shiawassee ISD but has expanded statewide. Projects are currently or have been in place in districts/regions in the following states/territories: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
